Internships at our Oakland Office

Current Opening: Communications & Development Intern

We are also looking for ongoing support in the following areas:

- Social media and nonprofit marketing
- Database maintenance and support
- Campus and congregation outreach

EcoViva Interns commit to working 5 to 10 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months. Volunteer from Home

You can volunteer with EcoViva from home by supporting us with fundraising, general outreach (tabling, presentations), translating documents, and working on special research projects.  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to get involved.

Volunteer in El Salvador

We have a limited number of spaces for skilled volunteers to work in rural El Salvador. To apply, you must already speak advanced Spanish, and be able to commit for a minimum of six months. Exceptions to the six-month commitment are sometimes made for those with specialized skills that are needed locally.

The following professions and skills are particularly in demand:

- Tropical wetlands biologists
- Conservation scientists
- Watershed management and habitat restoration
- Engineering
- Experience teaching computer skills to people with limited formal education
- Public health (environmental health focus)
