With an annual budget of $600,000, EcoViva is a lean and effective organization which dedicates significant funding to grantmaking and capacity-building in Central America.  Our budget has grown steadily over the last three years as we improve our fundraising and community outreach.

Our most recent audit shows that 85% of our expenses go to our programs, 9% to administration and 6% to fundraising.   On the income side, approximately 50% of our support comes from institutions and 35% from individual donors, with Community Empowerment Tours providing 15% of our income.  For fiscal year 2011, our preliminary reports show that we ended the year with a small surplus, which will allow us to expand our staff team from 3 to 4 people in 2012.
